twist in Savage 22-250 model 110

Would like to know the twist in a Savage HB varmit model 110 in 22-250 cal. and recommendations on max bullet wts. it will stabilize.

Hello,
Probably a 14 and would prefer the weights of 50-60 grain, but you never really know for sure just how it will shoot until you do some experimenting at the range. You can take your cleaning rod, mark it in inches, note a mark at the top, put tight fitting patch/brush, etc. and push through bore and count the distance it takes to make one revolution. You can come pretty close to determining the twist. Just a suggestion.

1 in 12. Probably won't stabilize much over 60grains, especially if they have a high BC.
