I got an UNFIRED Ruger MkII 338WM that's not moving in the classifieds...

Since no one wants it... I'm wondering what could this magnum boltface and action be chambered to...

What would you build if you had this action?

338WM ain't bad at all but before I commit to a semi-custom build on it as a project...

What are my other options on this magnum bolt-face...375 HH is inviting,,, but anything else??????? I already got a commercial action ZASTAVA 7RM that has never been blooded...

500AR, 470 capstick, 470Ar, 458 lotts, 458AR, 458win, 416AR, 416rem, 416 taylor, 375 rum, 375 HH...

the bolt throw and mag are large/long enough. (or can be made that way). i have seen them done, or did them myself, on all of these, except the 500AR and the capstick.. but I am working on one in 500 AR for this fall.

416 taylor would be my choice. i have a rem 7mm mag that's just begging for that conversion.

I think I'd go 375 H&H or 458 Win. No flies on either one and components/ammo are readily available.
