Saw a sporterized FN mauser today for a good price. It is marked ALB 1952 on ring, and Fabrique Nationale etc on the left side. Not ground on, drilled, or otherwise butchered. Nothing of value in the barrel or stock, and has military type shroud/safety.

What are these worth, and how good are they as mausers go?

Thanks,
dave

Thanks for the info. About the same as any military mauser, seems to me.

What was rthe rifle chambered for? Actual sale value can vary quite a bit ($100-$150) depending on the cartridge for which it is chambered.

My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.
