Anybody have some pics of reworked VZ 24 bottom metal ? I was gonna build another 7x57 and a 338/06 on a pair of em'.

What are the options ?

what sort of rework are you looking for? sandblast? fill screwholes, polish, go? or a full rework to a 1909 type?

That would be nice if possible. I'm interested to see what can be done to the original bottom metal.

Just about anything can be done to that original bottom metal by a good craftsman. However, the cost might be such that you may want to just consider buying new bottom metal made specifically for the cartridge you are going to use. Blackburn makes some pretty nice stuff.

Saw some once of a floor plate that had a coffin shape relief on it. Was very nice, wish I knew where the heck that was.
