Just making up a Ruger 77/44 rifle with overbarrel suppressor. Barrel will be about 14.5" long under the can)

Twist rate is 1:20 (couldnt get my hands on the 1:11 twist Douglas bbl).
Looking to use Trailboss powder and pills from 200-250 gns.

Couple of Q's.
Anyone had any experience with this type of setup? After some load data and types of projecticles to start using.

Cheers.

I have a contender carbine in 44 mag with a 1-22 twist. Subsonic cast bullets with fast burning pistol powders do very poor, but jacketed up to 250 grains do much better. I use about 8 grains of NM04 with the jacketed bullets and get 2 inch groups at 100 yards. 13 grains of WC820 also works well, but with higher a stdev.

Am still working on the silencer.

i have nothing on this, though it would be interesting to know if a sub load will cycle the action. an actyle/nylon buffer rod, like in the 10/22, might help noise
