The recipe listed on page 15 calls for 1/4 lb alkanet root in 1 Pint of raw linseed oil. Then let stand for 24 hours.

Chris,

Use the phrase "alkanet root" in the search (find) function. There's like two pages of info. Hope this helps.

I did a search before I posted. I know the group/msg board etiquette. There were no specifics in those two pages just mix some alkanet root with oil.
