Check in Gun List or Shotgun News, always seem to be some there. Also, Chesters Firearms in PA have quite a few. Sorry, but I dont have the phone # for them.

Chester's is in NY; the phone number is 631-696-3800. I've bought many guns from Chester, and can vouch for his integrity. If he tells you a barrel is new it is.

I've gotten a couple of barrels from Pac-Nor in Oregon. They replace many barrels there and sell the good take-offs for $40, the last time I got one. It's a constant source and constant supply.

Renraf, I have one chambered in .223 Remington. It is an Arnold Arms barrel but is threaded for a Remington action. Also have a .308, a .338 Ultra Mag (stainless), and a 7mm STW all in Remgington 700 barrels.

Thanks for all the responses, Pac-Nor says they don't have any, I'm not in a big hurry, so I will wait for the right one. (.220Swift or 22-250) Thanks again
Chic, whats the name of the guy in Oregon. K something custom, used to have his sight bookmarked until my puter puked. He has a lot of Remington take off barrels. Had one in .300H&H once and I was snoozing again.
