I have an older Mauser commission rifle that is in need of a front sight blade. It is the one that slides in from the front and is obviously one of the metric dovetailed ones. The ones that NECG sells are too large. This one's base measures about .155" wide by .900" long. I was faced with the same problem awhile back. We couldn't locate the smaller size so we machined a larger dovetail to accept the NECG. NRA Life Member, Band of Bubbas Charter Member, PGCA, DRSS. Shoot & hunt with vintage classics. | |||
