One source of small amounts of ebony might be tuning pegs for a cello or bass. Those for violins will be smaller. Can be turned in the lathe and easily cut off. 1 peg should be enough for several....


A good job is sometimes just a series of expertly fixed fark-ups.

I brought a whole set from harbor freight for about 5 bucks. All most throw away prices
