Is there a comercial mauser type bolt shroud available for the 1903/a3 actions? Looking for a trigger with safety also.

This is a little pricy but, you're getting the best and you don't need a side safety trigger.

There were some experimental 03’s built by Springfield that used bolt shrouds and side safeties from 1917 Enfields. Clark shows drawings of one in his book on 1903’s.

Jeff
I would need a side safety trigger if I had a shroud without a safety. Will the 1917 shroud fit a 1903 bolt? I suspect not. Then what about the firing pin?
