Recently, we got a Spanish M98 in that had been re-barreled with a 22-250 barrel. Request was to make it feed. The first thing I did was throw away the homemade spacer, follower and 2 piece riveted mag spring. After some searching, I found the components to make a feeding kit from Numrich Gun Parts. I ordered a 22-250 rear mag spacer, follower, and follower spring for a Ruger M77. Then I found a front mag spacer w/feed ramp for a Santa Barbara Mauser. Everything fit perfect in the Mauser magazine except the follower which needed a little taper adjustment. The front mag spacer just needed length adjustment to clear the floorplate tab slot before soft soldering in. Feeds like butter!
