Just what I've always wanted: a tricked-out 742!

I'm not sure, but the engraving may be some of Roger Kehr's work. Definately the work of a master (particularly the smiling deer.)

If you are buying engraving by the pound, this rifle looks like a pretty good deal.

Belaw,

I can only aspire to attain that level of engraving skill... clap

Someday this rifle will be priceless, and it will be exhibited as one of the finest (and only) examples of late 20th century folk art....

I love early 19th century folk art, but I'll have to age another century before I appreciate this.

On the other hand, you really can't hurt a rifle like this - even with a sledge hammer and cold chisel.

You don't like happy animals? The grin on the lion (?) is as bad as the deer's.

Wow!! A perfect description for "lots of money and no taste". Everymans junk is one mans treasure! Hunting with that would be like riding a moped, it's only fun until you're friends see you! animal
