| Tapered from what to what? I'm not familiar with Steyr's. Do they taper lap the bore? If so it would only be a tenth or two and probably wouldn't affect much. |

| You might try pushing a sinker or soft lead slug through the bore from the breach. If it is tapered you will feel it. |

| just cut it where you want it. It should not be oversized at any point in th ebarrel and it will not matter hwere you cut it |
