DON'T USE IT

there is no direct replacement.

stop setting it, and it won't matter

When new, as you know, they came with TWO triggers. The set and a standard style

I have one somewhere and including basic airmail postage would take US $30 or 20€ for it. However they do have "issues" of there own, some think, with a poor pull-off.

I however much prefer them! If you visit the "nitro express forums" there is a long thread about these triggers.

hi
why canjar or other makers don't make trigger for these brnos? brno 602 is a great gun with a very bad trigger Frowner. i asked a guy who is general agent for brno in sweden and he told me it is very difficult to find replacement. he has ordered some triggers from Brno for a year ago and still not received them. Frowner.

I have ZKK-602 with the standard trigger. The break is clean, if not a little heavy, but it works OK. I while back I sent it to AHR and they were going to use it to develop a one piece trigger and a 3-position safety for it. They were able to make the Model 70 style safety (and it's a real beaut) but the trigger eluded them. As far as I know, no one makes an aftermarket, one-piece trigger for the 602. If anyone out there hears of one, please tell me about it.

like i said, there aint a replacement trigger .. timney and AHR triggers are for the 550

the 602 attaches to the bottom metal like a sears mauser .. its POSSIBLE that someone could weld on a mounting point on the tang and rework that to take the timney ... expect at LEAST $750 for that kind of work, if you could find someone to take it...

which means ... since you seem to hate the trigger, sell the 602 and get a 550, and a timney .. its CHEAPER, and unless you have the popup peep sight, the new 550s are far superior in workmanship than the later 602

jeffe,

what do you think about the factory triggers on the 550? dennis olson has just completed work on mine and he thinks it cleaned up beautifully and could find no compelling reason to replace it.

the 550 trigger can be cleaned up .. and it works good .. the timney trigger is like 80 bucks, and most people can do it themselves ..

AHR makes a good replacement..

the 550 trigger is COMPLICATED .. and I am kinda dumb

There are no commerical replacements for any of BRNO 600 series rifles. Something could be custom fabricated however you're better to tune the existing and save lots of $'s.

On mine I've removed the assembly completely from the action for tuning.

For those not familar with the BRNO, the trigger is pinned in the guard whereas the sear is pinned to the action and has alot of small components. Once apart inspect all components (trigger and sear) for machining marks and burrs. Clean up with a honing stone and lubricant...I use liquid soap to keep the stone clean....my preference. Once all surfaces are honed, reassemble. You should see a huge improvement. Further trigger pull can be adjusted from the internal screw in the action body if so desired.

Although these rifles came with a single set trigger, it's not the best on a big bore (ZKK602) reliability. Remove it and put away. Install the standard trigger.

These are a great gun....just need a little tuning and it will serve you well.

I belive Canjar is out of business. Even when they were not, just getting in touch with them, let alone getting a trigger, was akin to winning in the lottery.

Timney has a place on their website to make suggestions for what model rifle trigger you like to see them make. If all us ZKK-60X users inundated them with requests, MAYBE they would take the hint and make them.
