scroll down to see Mannlicher length option

-or-

Get a 1909 long rifle stock and cut down and shape to a Mannlicher style. A small Schnabel at the lower band step looks good. That would make it resemble a 1900's sporter.

Richards is back ordered due to their nice wood for the price; I usually get them in 8 weeks or so. I used my first on from them in 1970. Now they are CNC made, I believe.

Wood was good for the money .. but what I got doesn't mean you will get the same.

The wait was a lot longer than they promised. Apparently they don't run Mannlichers very often.

I would think every stylist has a 1909 pattern in various styles..I know Dennis Olson,406 826-3790 has some, as does Gene Myers 208 336 2243, both do excellent work...

just 26 weeks?
I first ordered from them in 93 or 94, and took about 4 weeks.. by 2001, it was 12, and by 2006, it was 18 weeks .. at which point i built my own pantograph ..

the good thing is if they tell you 21 weeks, or 2, it will ship in that week .. they always had good forecasting, i think they needed better logistics..

hah.. i haven't been on their website in a decade, and it looks the same

I have an 89 year old gunsmith friend with a couple of Mauser Maanlicher stocks for sale. One is a take off and another is an inletted walnut stock that needs final fitting. If you pm me with a cell number, I can text you photos. You have to give me about a week to get to his place.
