I have several match rifles that will soon require rebarreling. Actions involved would be Rem700, Win70 and an RPA Quadlock.

Wondering who folks would recommend? I live in the quad cities.

I think Gordy Gritters is in IA, he's a top shelf LR gunsmith along with Jim See in Decorah IA and Ryan Pierce who both build F Class, PRS and precision hunting rifles.

Not in Ia, but close. Jim Kobe in Bloomington has rebarreled a number of rifles for me. Most recent one is in the return mail to me.

Unless Gordy moved back to Iowa and didn't tell me, he is now in Missouri.

He knows how to build accurate rifles, that is for sure. Anymore when I am looking for an accuracy gunsmith he has to be shooting in LR competitions.
