What gunsmithing work is needed to convert a CZ 550 medium action in 300win to 404 jeffery.

I converted a Post 64 Model 70 in the same caliber to .404J and is was a lot of work. In my opinion, you'd be better off selling it and buying the CZ550 Magnum in that caliber. Feeding was the big thing and I think there isn't much geometry difference in your CZ and a Model 70

ask the importer what he can get a cz in 404 for.

its ALOT of work, barrel, sights, feeding, bluing, etc...
