Sure many must have received their notice..Forester is apparnetly streamling their operations and including reamers with a design twist.Looks interesting

I went to the Forster web site to check it out. Currently, they are only listing 4-5 different reamers on the 'drop down' menu, all of which I already have in the tool storage drawers, except for the 33XC (I never buy a reamer until I have a job for it). What I did find was an extension for their sight mounting jig (currently on sale), which will allow mounting barrel mounted sites,, something I have wished I had for the past 35yrs instead of having to 'jig something up' on the mill.

I'll have to check it out but at this point I am used to jigging things up and have all the fixturing to do so.

I just looked at it, looks nice if you screw sights on, I tend to solder them on and have a system that works well for that.

I agree, most muzzles are too thin for screws. I like to have a 'locator' pin, for tdc, before soldering, even if it might only be a 1/16" pin. Also, many aren't worth soldering and then just screw the rear one on, and the front if there's enough 'meat'. Got a 'cheapy' now in the shop for sights that would be a prime candidate. At my age, trying to get away from the 'cheapies'. Got materials, I may make one, as I have already made attachments for others. There are a couple of Forester Jigs for sale on EBay at a lower cost than new (about a $125 savings) if someone out there is looking.
