I need a bolt for a Ruger M77 tang safety in 25-06 . Will a Mk11 bolt work in this action , and if so what work would be needed to make it work ?

well, on first thought, I would have told you no way.

in any event, it WILL have to be re-headspaced or it will be unsafe

but, picking up from from each, i'll be, they fit...

you would have to RIG a safety and make an ejector, as the mkii has a mauser like ejector that fits though a slot... BUT that looks a little tough to make

That sort of information is what I needed . I shall pursue the Mk1 bolt , at least there is no time frame for this so I can wait and see what turns up.
