It's usually the other Forrest (fla3006) who is finding little gems in out of the way places, then poking us in the eye with pictures of his rare find. This time, however, it is my ship that has come in.

Read 'em and weep FLA, it's a full-house plus one up my sleeve.

Four Chileans from the banks of the Neckar river.

And a couple of Czech beauties

That is a fine bunch of actions. But at the rate I have succeeded in getting custom rifles built, I would be looking at 15 years to get those all turned into completed rifles. And that's longer than the sentence for armed robbery.

Your ship has arrived!

But you might be accused of hoarding now- you should distribute them amongst the forum...

Was that the guy on GunsAmerica who was selling 28 Mauser actions?
(actually I think it is Duane Wiebe's ship that just came in)

Are you sure you haven't been secretly hording and acquiring these waiting for the day that you could spring them on us? shame That should yield some beautiful rifles with lots of anguish over what to make of each one. Confused I agree with the idea that you should spread the wealth amongst the community. Big Grin Beautiful find, please keep us informed on their progress through life so we may turn even greener with envy. CRYBABY

Ain't that the truth. Plus half way thru I would find a couple more interesting suspects and dig my hole deeper.

Smiler Best quip of the day! I'm turning the G.33s over to a couple of friends who are having Duane build rifles for them. I haven't exactly decided what I'm going to do with the Chileans. One might end up as a full-stocked 338-06.

I am happy for you that you found them Forrest. Best they go to you who has proven over and over again that he will treat such beautiful actions with the respect they deserve.

Please make sure and show us the rifles as they are completed from these actions.
