I have a Belgium sxs shotgun that is going to need a buttstock. Who can do a copy for me. It is a boxlock and I would need a piece of wood as well. The existing stock is pretty good just worn and I would like to replace it. I can do the finish inletting.

I'd contact George Peterson at Treebone Carving; 575-376-2145. He can duplicate your stock, may already have a pattern, and has lots of blanks.

Call Fred Wenig at Wenig Custom stocks. He is from the old Fajen stockmakers Company and does excellent work. You might also try the ACGG website for a list of members that duplicate stocks; there are a number of them that do it.

Michael Kokolus did a blank for me, I'm not sure I'd send him another.

Some things he did were good, some questionable.

However, a very nice guy.
