Clumsily worded question but let me explain. I have a 700 Varmint .223 with a thumb-hole, laminated stock. Nice gun and I like it for 200 yard bench rest (informal). Recently added a Vortex 15x60-52 with rings high enough to accommodate the 52 bell. Problem is no cheek weld. At my age some cheek weld is necessary. In the past I have seen rubber like stick on pads of various thicknesses but don't know (or remember Roll Eyes ) where. Lots of words to ask: where can I get these pads?

Search "cheek riser" on Ebay. Tons of them in leather and fabric. Stick-ons too.

Lot of options including some nifty ides for a DIY guy.
- EVA Foam, sticky back, any thickness.
- Kydex. heat and shape and attach to stock, many differs ways, glue epoxy screws, double sticky tape, etc.?
- Commercial cheek rises, can be adjustable.
- Elastic stock cartridge holder with a pice of EVA foam weather stripping underneath.
- apply automotive bondo or epoxy on comb and sand down as desired.
