Is the Kimber 8400 series worthy of a full custom re-stock?

I have one in .300 Win Mag, love the rifle as its a shooter with 200 Partitions.

I'm thinking of restocking it in English walnut with shadowline cheekpiece, skeleton grip cap, ebong tip.

Opinions please.....

While I like the Kimbers my passion does not extend to the long 8400's. A member at 24 hr, was going to make a bolt handle for them with more style that also extended down lower on the bolt body. I have not seen his effort yet.

Here is a picture taken of the low scope to bolt clearance on a 8400 WSM. That bolt needs shaping and before the stock is made of course.

James,

That rifle in the first pic is a Kimber? If so you've answered my question, thanks!
