I would like to know what others think of the Charles Daly Mausers quality. I have two of the actions, and considering having something built using them. I just want to be sure they are worth the effort and cost, or should I get rid of them. I've owned several of them.....One I turned into a .257 Weatherby and two others were turned into .25-06 riflesand I wasn't complaining about any of them. There were a few minor issues I had to fix and it was irritating as I expected them to be better but in the net result they were well worth the asking price. I can't get by the Remington offering of the same barreled action as the price went way up and the fit of the wood is atrocious.....screw em! /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Let me correct myself here, the bad CD actions I encountered were not actually worse, they were just as bad. Measuring up to .003" off across the boltface. Aut vincere aut mori | |||
