Hey Guys,

I have a CZ550 in 416Rigby that I'd like to spin the barrel off and mount to my BRNO 602 in 375H&H.
Are the threads the same? Will I need to do any feedwork?

Then, I have an old Whitworth in 375H&H that someone knocked the sights off of, and then magnaported it. I'd love it if I could spin that 602 barrel on there and have sights again with little effort. Threads the same on these two?

Thanks for the insights!

I believe the CZ550 and 602 are the same thread. However if the Whitworth is a mauser action the thread is different from the CZ.

As usual just my $.02

Do you guys think there will be huge issues in getting this 375H&H action to feed if I hang the 416 Rigby barrel off of it?

Would I be better off if I got a new box, or do you think some rail work will be needed?

Why dont you get a couple of dummy 416 Rigby rounds and see how they act in the 602 as is. I know you cant chamber them but I have done this to see if they would even start up out of the rails.

If you went to 416 Remington your chances of it feeding without alterations would be pretty good since it is based on the same case.

If you do pull the 375 602 barrel I would like to buy it. I have a 602 .375 H&H that has a few rust pits in the bore and I would like to replace it. My email is freddy@johle.com
