Step 16 in the instructions say to attempt to move the safety to the rear and note the area and amount of material that must be removed so the safety will go all the way to the rear. Do you remove metal from the safety or the reciever? I have removed the butt stock but I don't want to start taking it apart before I know what is involved. Is it better to let a gunsmith install it or is it a simple procedure? Thanks.

You would be removing metal from the safety bar.Unless you have done trigger jobs before and feel good about doing them I would advise you to let a smith to do it as the Moyer trigger can require some fitting to make it work correctly in the No.1::::MV

Thanks Multi Vis. I installed the trigger last week but just got a small file yesterday so I could file the safety bar. It works great. I'm glad I went ahead and did it myself.
