Hey bradley and chuckey, Looking forward to more of your vast knowledge concerning the M70s design flaws. Most everyone on the Board can always use a good laugh. And it is always nice to do it at your alls expense.

Interesting comment from bradley as he tucked his tail between his legs and slunk off, having been shut completely up:

C'Mon now Matt, don't go muddying-up this thread with facts...
Yes indeed, the actual facts always seem to get in the way of chuckey's and bradley's vast knowledge(?). Imagine that.

Should have included "GrandView" in the correct info group previously.

Whew! I thought it was me. My Featherweight in 6.5x55 was the worst gun I've ever fired. 1 Maybe 2 shots ok, then break out the search party. There were holes everywhere. Settle down, barrel cools, a couple more, not too bad, then Bham! Sold it last year.

You shouldn'a oughta done that. Frowner

Accuracy and precision being two different things, one would likely benefit from applying each where it is needed, sometimes both. Bench and varmint guns a dose of both as the game dictates, but for the most part big game won't hold still for ya if you're trying to print a 5 shot group on their shoulder. If you got 2 that go near enough to hold hands on the paper you have a deer rifle. If you need three or more shots(I'm being generous), you need a few more days at the range IMO. My first deer fell to a Mod. 88 in .243, and 'twas a neck shot out far enough that I thought it a spike when I shot. Damned if I wasn't surprised to find an 8 point when I got there. Eeker Could always count on the second shot to cut the hole of the first, on paper anyway, but I never needed it. Shots 3-whatever were hysterical in their wanderings though. Lad across the street stole that one from me one night, he may still be a guest of the state for other reasons though. thumb

Anyway, to bring this ramble to a conclusion...think about what you're doing with a gun before you decide it is not accurate enough, or percise enough. Camp Perry accuracy is wasted on deer rifles for the most part. Knowing where the FIRST shot is going is nice to know however.

If yuro'e corseseyd and dsyelixc can you siltl raed oaky?

Hey DD, What are your definitions of Accuracy and Precision?

I would think "Accuracy" is something you never see in bradley's or chuckey's posts.

And "Precision" is something you see in ALL my posts.

Is that what you had in mind?

Plus I wanted to kick it back to the top so more folks could see what fool's they have made of themselves. Big Grin

I'm sure that's exactly what he had in mind. Ya dork. Have anything useful to bring to the table yet?
