Mark x, intersarms, Charles Daly, Remington, brno, Whitworth... all the same sction, all large ring 98s.. even a surplus 98 extractor will work. Sarco or Numrich. Some on eBay. As stated, they are just 98 Mausers, and you can grind a standard one for a .532 case if necessary. | |||

Well, my parts hunt wasn’t going well….so I bought a donor Whitworth 458 and took the extractor, ejector, and trigger assembly and swapped them out. | |||

Brownelles used to sell Mauser 98 extractors that were available for standard(.473) or magnum (.532) cartridges. I would check with them, although the M98 aftermarket has dried up over the past couple of decades. Brownells used to be a "go to"...But unless you need AR or 45 stuff..don't waste your time. I thnk any of the gunsmiths here on AR could have easily taken care of the prblem | |||

Don't think Brownells is even interested in anythng but AR and 45 parts and pieces. Would seem any legitmate gunsmith should have been able to take care of the problem | |||

None of the young shooters wants anything to do with a wood stock or a bolt action. But yes, any decent gun "smith" can make a standard 98 extractor work on a magnum case. | |||
