What is the standard length of pull on a Savage 99 stock? The one I have seems abnormally shot, but does not look like it has been cut down.

Paul it should have a slight curve in the butt and they run about 13.25 ro 13.50 so they are short..I just add a recoil pad without cutting the curve...looks real nice..

Funny you should mention that. I just installed a pad on a 99 yesterday. How do you go about fitting the pad to the curve?
