I have a 1909 Peruvian Mauser action that has been reworked and that I am making into a custom rifle. The problem is that the both the insignia on the top of the receiver ring and the printing on the left siderail were ground off, i.e. Modelo....oberndorf a/n. Does anybody know of an engraver than can reproduce so that it looks like the original. Thank you for any assistance you may

I would think any engraver could do it, but they would need another action to look at. Many engravers might choose not to do that type of work, however. Roger Kehr (Scrollcutter) is one nominee.
