yep, I've posted this a couple times.. there's a big risk of damaging your stock, either by drifting out the wood (making a hole) if you have a a radial head drill press (i do) this is easier) in the rear of the action, you drill a pilot hole in the CORNER formed by the vertical back wall of the stock and the bottom of the inletting. I use a 1/8 to get started. you then replace the drill with a LONG drill 3/8" and drive it towards the center of the grip... cut and shape a 3/8 allthread rod mix your epoxy, and swap it into the hole (do not fill the hole) coat the rod... you may have to work the all thread in and out to get it all the way down allow to dry shape as required, or bed over it opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Worth, Welcome to the forums! Are you wanting to just reinforce it or do you need to repair it? What caliber, how does the break run, is it a break or a crack, etc....? Here is a link for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Gentlemen, Thank you for your replies. The rifle I was thinking about reinforcing is a ZKK 602 in 375. The stock is not broken and the rifle is bedded, cross-bolted, and relieved behind the tang. I have the impression from Jeffosso's post that it may be better to leave well enough alone. Thanks again. Worth

You should be good to go with a 375. At or above 416 Rigby is when we break out the long steel. LD
