I've got a McMillan Featherweight stock from a WinLite rifle that I want to put a Decellerator pad on. I have installer Decellerator pads on wood stocks but not McM's. I really don't want to cut the stock because I don't have the right saw to do the job properly and don't want to mess up the fiberglass. I was looking at the factory pad and noticed the hard plate that the factory pad is bonded to. I can cut the rubber without a problem. Would there be a problem with installing the Decellerator pad to that base plate? I appreciate any knowledgeable help. NRA Life Member NRA Charter Member Golden Eagles

If I'm not mistaken those pads are glued on--no screws. I do not know for sure though. I'd give them a call and ask them. Nice folks, just way too slow to deliver for me. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA!
