Barrel swap Remington M750 Woods Master to Remington M700 Classic.

Is a barrel from a Rem Model 750 Woods master compatible to be installed on an Old Model Rem 700 Classic? I’m talking about the 35 Whelen specifically?

My M700 has had too many rounds down the pipe.

Thanks in Advance,
Vinny

I seriously doubt it, but am ready to be proven incorrect.

If you mean the 740 woodsmaster the answer is no. Different barrel threads & smaller OD.

700 barrels in .35 Whelen are scarse as hen's teeth . I've found 2 in 5 years of keeping an eye out for them !
