vinnygBarrel swap REM M750 WoodsMaster to REM M700 Classic
Barrel swap Remington M750 Woods Master to Remington M700 Classic.
Is a barrel from a Rem Model 750 Woods master compatible to be installed on an Old Model Rem 700 Classic? I’m talking about the 35 Whelen specifically?
My M700 has had too many rounds down the pipe.
Thanks in Advance,
Vinny

D HumbargerIf you mean the 740 woodsmaster the answer is no. Different barrel threads & smaller OD.

jeffeossoi think he means the new woodsmaster, model 750 .. though the comments are correct, it won't work, easily... oh, it CAN be done.. with a sleeve and other nightmares... but practically, it won't work

OngweThere are new factory 700 take-offs in every garden across America...pull one up and screw it on.
(Only a slight exaggeration)

Mike Bromley700 barrels in .35 Whelen are scarse as hen's teeth . I've found 2 in 5 years of keeping an eye out for them !
