I found that out the HARD way w/ my '05 750 snorked Brute @ General Sam's Thanksgiving 2006. It was just supposed to be a small shallow "puddle" and the next thing I know, I'm struggling trying to salvage the situation to no success. I actually had to dive down, disengage the winch, secured the line to a tree & winched my poor defeated wet dog out of that harmless little "puddle"! By the time I was done, the "crowd ring" had swelled to 25-35 rubberneckers enjoying themselves at my expense.
I also remember that place was also infested w/ water mocassins & copperheads, I've never seen so many in such short time. I rarely get to ride anymore, even though I still have three atv's in my garage. The ranches where I hunt forbid atv's, which is also why I'm looking for a new south Texas lease. Enjoy the good fruits of the atv life...
