Steel wool? Yikes, rust mess.

I used some mortor mix once. it worked. Mix up a thick batch and seal around pipes etc. That expanding spray in foam stuff doesnt work , i know that. rodents just chew it and make a mess

Keep it clean. We keep the paper goods in a top shelf, away from the sinks. Only food left behind is what's in a can, if that. They find no food or water source and leave, hopefully.
Also keep the weeds down around the pad site. Mice don't want to be out in the open when hawks are around.

Moth balls

+1 i live full time in a motorhome and have had varmits move in while i was away, and nearly trash the place....seal up as many holes as you can, you'll never find all of them, too many places underneath... use liberal amounts of mothballs, underneath the rv, on the ground... sulfur granules work good to keep ants and other bugs out, put a trail of them around the rv... keep all the grass and weeds cut as low to the ground as possible... i use 1 of the "electronic bug repellers" it seems to work, strays plugged into an outlet underneath the body... keep trash picked up, dont have garbage cans anywhere close, use clorox spray on the ground around the wheels, anything you think of will probably help....

go big or go home ........

Appreciate all the replies. The inside was spotless, have 3 electronic repellers, they did not get in for 6 months. When I went to load it up for an outing there calling cards were apparent. No damage, just came for a visit.

Will try the sulfur crystals as it sits on a concrete slab.

Thanks everyone, film at eleven.

Is this a travel trailer/fifth wheel/fold-down or a coach? If it is a tow behind you can spray the entire underside with pepper-spray and that will keep most animals away. But your RV technician will cuss you out when he has to get under there... Moth balls on the ground underneath it will help too and keep the smell out of the trailer.
