The only people on the island are either hotel guests, or hotel employees, so I avoided taking pictures of them.
One of Us All of the pictures are great but the bird pictures are the best I have ever seen. Thanks for posting them.

Administrator I used to fly helicopters years ago.
Lots of fun.
I have added another selection.
One of Us Wonderful photos, Saeed.
I wonder what are the names of those birds? Amazing beauty and variety.
I believe that I saw four man-made bracelets on one of them. I wonder what the story is behind that?
MikeWilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

The black bird is the Seychelles Robin. It is only found on the Fregate Island apparently.
I have a few more photos of different birds to post later on.
Administrator A fourth selection has been added.
I think I have one more to prepare, and will post it later on.
One of Us Thank you for thinking of us! As always your photography is as good as it gets.

One of Us Yes, many of the birds are banded. By who and for what? Have you done any fishing for bonefish there?
Administrator The fifth and last part has been added.

One of Us Saeed, I spent 5 days in the seychelles in 98 while on deployment with the USMC. It was the most remarkable place and probably the most beautiful of all the places i have seen. Sunsets over the Indian Ocean can be truly amazing. Your photos are excellent and remind me a great time i had there. It was one of those places you feel like you could live foreever! Thanks for sharing.
