We spent 3 weeks with family and friends in Northern Sweden.

No fishing does not appeal to me.

Lots of very nice pictures, I especially like the board on the glass smooth fjord and the seal photos. “Delivery” boat, too, makes perfect sense that materials be delivered by boat. Thanks!

The outlying islands are only occupied in the summer, as the sea around them freezes in the winter months.

Only access is by boat so all services are provided by boat.

Although it is the sea, the water closer to shore is relatively sweet, because of the run off of rain water.

I am fascinated by how green the algae is on those rocks the seals use to sun themselves on.

Our neighbor does fishing sometimes, and he throws the entrails and unwanted fish back.

The seagulls like to feed on these.

That gave me an idea as I wanted to get action photos of them feeding.

So started throwing tortilla chips for them, and the feeding frenzy started.

Fascinating what sort of contortions they get into!
