A magnificent animal indeed-I would love to be able to hunt one some day if I could afford it. Thanks for sharing.

What a grand species.. One of Africa's greatest. I hope that I get the chance to chasse a big bull one of these days.

As a side note, I really like the background of that website. Has a great old world feel to it.

That is way better than porn.

Shukaree, the forehead muff, or mop is a combination of both genetics and age. Some eland no matter how old they get never get a mop. Truthfully I have never seen a LD Eland that had as much mop as the best livingston's eland I have seen, but I have definately seen some better mop genes than the ones in these films.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
