| I have seen kennels made from heavy rods, but they were very pricey if you wanted more than a small cage. I have always had good luck with chain link. I am using 11 gauge wire. The newer wire is several gauges higher. If I was building a new kennel I would look for some older chain link, I often see fence being given away that is much better quality than the newer wire. |

| Do a google search for Behlen manufacturing in Columbus, Ne. They make excellent kennels that are welded, rectangular wire; easy to assemble also. I suspect they're not cheap! I'll be finding out soon myself! friar
