That looks like a fun shoot.
Wish I had the time and was ready for it.
Right now Cub Scouts and Little League baseball has my focus through the end of June.

Rick
Is the competition pretty fierce or do they have room for a newbee in these matches.

Snell,

I have never been lucky enough to be able to shoot the match. Like just about every popular match like this in the country, they are full literally in one second after registration opens.

The place to start is at Whittington's Sporting Rifle Match

No limits on participants and a little easier course of fire. It's a monthly shoot as well, not just once a year like the SS.

Yes the Whittington sounds great and I'm not far away. Now I just have to make time in my schedule for it and make it happen.

Some day I'll be able to do stuff like that! Looks awesome.

Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!

Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.

Tyler,

Do you have any practical Long Range Rifles other than the .338?

I have an F/TR 308, but it's not really "practical", real big and long!

Maybe I will be able to make it some point this summer. Is there a schedule and description available?
