Had one yote and eight greys in the truck by 10 a.m. last sunday. Actually called sixteen but it was such a rodeo I could only shoot so many before reloading. All were taken with the .17 fireball and my Minaska Big Country caller.

Looks like it was a very fun and exciting day. How often do you call in bobcats?

Joshnaz,
What bullet are you using in the 17FB? How is it on pelts?

I have just now started to target bobcats so hopefully they will start to show up. Did get this one last week.

Last year grey fox got $14.00

Using a 20 accutip factory load. Fur damgae just really depends on where you hit them called in a couple more today. Hit one in the shoulder and there is barely a hole. next one was same spot but at an angle and it put a rather large hole in the pelt. Will need sewing.

Impressive haul, congrats! Deer poachers put a pinch on our varmint hunting at night...can't. Daytime only with mouth calls. What a crock. Nice looking rifle too.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
