Snowolfe and Kent,

I have a 470 gr .512" bullet mold if you want me to cast some up for you to try.

So far I've only used them for plinker loads out of my 50 Jeffrey 30 odd grs of Unique for 1100 fps.

I guess I'm just too fond of bolt guns to have had a 50 AK built, but if I were to get a levergun, I couldn't think of a better chambering.

Kmule, Thanks for the offer. In my haste to find a suitable rifle for a 50-110 base I bought a Winchester 1886 Hi grade version in 45-70. Now the dang thing is so pretty I wouldnt take it out hunting. I been trying to sell it so I can purchase one of the take down 1886's and then go from there.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
