The Federal 45-70 300 grain offering is not a Speer Grand Slam, it is a Speer UniCor hollow point #2482. The Federal PowerShok page generalizes that the offerings are Grand Slam, which most of them are, just not the 45-70.

The Federal Cartridge website also misidentifies the 45-70 bullet as a Speer HotCor

Jackfish,what in the world happened to marlin talk? I can't figure what went wrong with the site.They had to of sold a bunch of marlin rifles when people read the site.
