Hi guys! I've got an original 1886 winchester that is experiencing a mag tube problem. I'm looking for a gunsmith that can work on the rifle. It is fully restored so I am looking for someone who takes pride in their work and won't leave scratches on the metal or wood. Doug Turnbull has been suggested, but he has long wait times and I would prefer not to use him unless I have to. Any suggestions? Jerry

Strange indeed. I replied to the poster( pizzaboy) that griffin & Howe could do the job par excellence...But my reply has been erased!! DRSS: HQ Scandinavia. Chapters in Sweden & Norway

Howdy Pards! Sorry, been out of town and just now getting back to this thread. Doug, thanks for the reply. I was kind of hoping to use it in a match at the end of Jan. Sorry, I'm only a pizzaboy to my family! Jerry
