Could some one answer or point me in the direction on how to get the manufacture date on my Winchester 9422 ? The serial number is F198115 .I tried Proof House but they are not listed.Thanks in advance

Contact the Winchester Museum in Cody, WY. If anyone would have the information they would. I can tell you that they did not have records for my 1957 vintage M70 (that is when the gentleman I bought it from said he bought it), so they may, or may not, have any of the other "modern" serial number records. If you talk to them, have them put you in touch with the Winchester Collectors Society (?)...they might help also. Good luck.
