| if you buy one at Cabelas, try to make sure it feeds and ejects properly before you pay for it. I bought one there and found that the "lifter" stuck and when it finally popped up, it sent the cartridge flying or turning 180 degrees. It is at a gunsmiths now getting that repaired. Otherwise it shot well as a single shot |

| My Pederosali 1886/71 in 45-70 purchased from Cabelas is now at the third gunsmith to try and get the action functioning smoothly.. That gun is not an "exact" replica of the 1886 |
