i want to put a lyman 66A on a winchester 94 can someone who owns one tell me if these are made of steel or aluminum. I have an aluminum williams 5d now but wanted a lyman but only if they are all steel Thanks Tanoose | ||

Recent production is aluminum, older vintage 66's are steel. Look for them on eBay where they typically bring about $60. Here's one for sale right now, appears to be all steel, I'd contact the seller before I bid and make sure: Lyman 66A Sight NRA Life Member, Band of Bubbas Charter Member, PGCA, DRSS. Thanks fla i spoke with Lyman and it seems they stopped making steel sights back in the 1970's | |||
