| Thank you.
Actually I've been a member for a while, but my account disapeared during the last upgrade of the forum software so I had to register again.
To my eyes, the Win has a slightly more "classical" look, but I've heard the Marlin action is a little better... Kinda wish I could get both... |

| No question if you're going to scope it, the Marlin is the way to go. Also to clean from the breech, take one screw out of the Marlin and you are in business. The Win is a complicated mess. |

| HiWall, I think you may find that the .35 fills your bill. It offers a little more performance. In practical terms, not a whole lot with tradtional loadings, but some.
Buffalo Bore ammo was offering a loading for the .35 that appeared to be more powerful. Might check with them to see if it is still available. |

| I picked up the Marlin today. The Win. was older and not in as good condition as the Marlin.
Now I just have to find some time and take it to the range...
Thx to those who replied. |
