Just bought one of these pistols and really like it,
http://www.magnumresearch.com/Expand.asp?ProductCode=MLP22BFC

BUT
it's got about a 4.5 to 5 pound trigger pull which is higher than I'd like for a pistol.
Being based on a Ruger 10/22 design, it should take any of the after market trigger assembly replacments. Anyone put a Jared or Kidd or VQ trigger on their Rugers or similar pistol?

Thanks

I have two Kidd triggers on Ruger 10-22's. They are THE best trigger for that rifle.
But, the cheaper alternative is to buy an aftermarket hammer from someone like Power Custom and drop it in with no other mods. You'll obtain a good 2 1/2 pound pull.
