I saw a S&W model 41 at the gun shop the other day, used with 3 clips for $695, is that a reasonable price? Saw a new one for over $800. Thanks, XP708

it's not a bad price, but check the serial # to see when it was made (rimfire central has a list) the older ones seem to be better than the new ones. I'd pay that price for one made before say 1972 but not for a late model.my guess would be that if you offered 625-650 it'd be yours.. great gun - i almost made the olympics shooting one with the extendable front sight

Target guns can be fired a lot. Price should go with its condition. The one i owned back in the late 60's had a problem the factory could not fix when i sent it back. For the difference in price of $150, i think i would try a new one first as they come with a life time warranty. From S&W website - "Lifetime Service Policy We will repair any defect in material or workmanship without charge to the original purchaser for as long as you own the handgun"

The model 41 is far and away my favorite .22 handgun. I got mine used and couldn't be happier with it. You'll sure enjoy it if you get it. Kyler

I second Kyler Hamann on this. I have a 41 and my only problem is all the other 22 pistols have no appeal now. You will indeed enjoy it.
